Marty knows western NC very well - we looked at listings from Highlands over to Hayesville and appreciated the depth of knowledge about the options, including both homes and lots. We just closed on a home near Hayesville, on streams, just as we hoped. He was always responsive, which is not easy in the mountains with the weak cell phone coverage. Marty is not only very professional, he is also very personable. I never felt that my wife and I were just numbers to him, but that we really mattered. Marty Kimsey is a top notch real estate agent and truly just a nice/decent human being. Marty is the best agent in western North Carolina. He knows the market and will be 100% honest in his assessments. I couldn't recommend anyone better than him. Marty was able to really analyze the market our property was in and this allowed us to know what our sales price should be. We were able to see where we stood with all similar properties. In addition Marty took a unique approach to listing the properties we wanted to sell in multiple ways. Grouping some lots together and preparing for a multiple lot auction.
From our first viewing of the home we bought till well after we took possession Marty was available to help with every detail. Marty is very familiar with Franklin market and helped us find the right property at the right price.
