Get directionsWe went this current Saturday, and we were going out for the last time before me and our 2 girls move to Texas. We were super excited and pumped about the show. I have a lot of reasons why this place was awful. First, we purchased our tickets online and we have a toddler. It didn't say that children under 3 could sit in your lap until after you buy the tickets. So we paid for a ticket that we didn't have to. Second, it said online to show up over an hour early for seats. We ended up standing around because there was not enou... read more
Food was alright. We paid for the VIP royalty tickets, front row seating. We were all crammed together in our row. The knights Acting wasn't good at all. The poor horses. I grew up with horses and competed they use Pelham bits its the most severe bit you can use in a horses mouth they were jerking on the horses mouths all night several horse associations have outlawed these bits because they have broken horses jaws. There were parts of the show where the horses reared up, buc... See More ked and even tried to kick their hand... read more
I've been to this Medieval times about five times now. The experience is great and the food is delicious. The chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly. My only complaint (-1 star) is that the menu is going down hill a bit and the tickets are still just as expensive. The menu used to contain bbq ribs and now they replaced it with a piece of corn on the cob. The dessert also used to be a delicious apple turnover and yesterday it was one of those pre-sliced lemon cakes that you buy from Walmart. But overall the experience and s... read more
The secondary story line was incredibly racist. The villain was black. He wanted to take the virtuous white woman against her will. In the end he was dragged away in bondage at the tip of a lash. These images reinforce stereotypes and negatively impact the socialization of children towards black men. I feel particularly heartbroken for the little black princesses and knights in the audiences exposed to these images. You can do better, MT!! This was racist -flat out.
VIP is the way to go. Just wish the tomato 🍅 soup was better. :/
The horses made me cry I wish I could save them all. They looked so very sad it broke my heart why does nobody say anything about this?
I ordered my family VIP tickets in hopes we would have a more personalized experience. While our photo was framed and delivered to us, we were denied access to the dungeon (a $2 charge), we regularly had $7 battery powered roses passed in front of us, and we were jammed into a row with 2 extra seats (despite paying additional for the VIP experience). The accents were difficult to understand at times and we were close enough to recognize the facial expressions of the actors who seemed mildly enthusiastic at best. The show ove... read more
The food served was much better portions and more tasty than other Medieval Times. The way they organized the entrance was not as hectic as other Medieval Times, either. We liked how the pictures being taken did not make you feel like you were on display. The only thing we did not like was how we did not get an option on which knight we wanted to support. Entering through the mall takes away from the ambiance at first, but once inside you are immersed in the full feeling. The waiting area seemed to be more open than the Jers... read more
We went to medieval times for my daughter's bday and while the show was fun and food good our server was quite rude and didn't bring us coffee or refills on our water or soda. They didn't have enough glasses for those of us drinking it and I had to get up and request them. I am not sure if the server's rudeness and poor service comes from the fact that they already take the gratuity prior to the service. I think it's a great concept and a nice show I think we just got unlucky with our server Chase!!!
