Hair still in shower from previous persons. Bedroom door cannot close due to bed positioning in the room. Only one TV remote for two TVs in the room. Five channels, ranging from Nickelodeon to Food Network. Sign said free breakfast but it was just “fresh coffee” from 8-10am. Pool is basically a cold jacuzzi, open 8am-8pm. They announced our room number aloud with others in the room, a serious safety hazard. Shower pressure mediocre, and temperature was never stable. It was extremely cold in Miami, and the hotel had no heat. The wi-fi connection was also terrible as well in our room. While I liked the spacious room, the lack of heat made the stay difficult. They also charged me a resort fee and rushed my wife and I out, even after requesting a late check-out. We tried to be understanding, but it left a bad taste.

Yes, room was terrible. Tvs didn't work, windows didn't close, shower temp was set to 145 degrees, shower handle didn't work properly.

I paid for a reservation from December 29 to December 31. I arrived at the hotel at approximately 5:00am on December 30 and attempted to check in. I understand forfeiting the first night due to late arrival. However, I was present on December 30 for the second night, which I had fully paid for. Reselling the room while retaining my payment constitutes double-charging for the same night. I am requesting a refund for the unused night (December 30–31). The woman at the reception desk was extremely rude, upon my arrival. I was told that that there would be 24 hour service. And someone would be able to open the gate door for me after 11pm if I forgot my code. But that was not the case. I had to book another place to stay, bc no one answered the phone or the entrance when I got back the the hotel after 11pm unacceptable.

First suite given to us the sink was not working and the kitchen light had electrical issues. We were given a second room, but then the glass shower door would not close in the bathroom and therefore the bathroom door could not close. The smoke detector also had plastic covering on it. Maintenance and manager were already gone in the evening. I told them that we can't keep changing rooms as I had my 14 year old niece and we needed to be somewhere that night. No breakfast, entire hotel is very run down, rooms slope severely, pool had been broken for years, fire dept was there twice in 4 days, attached to a Fat Tuesdays so not very secure. They also charge a hidden "resort fee" that is complete fraud upon check-in.

Hit me with a surprise “resort fee” $30/day when I arrived. No room cleaning or fresh towels for first 3 days I was there. Elevator was out for first 5 days I was there.
