This hotel is extremely old, and everything inside is outdated. It’s so old that even cleanliness doesn’t seem noticeable. The entire place, especially our room, had a horrible smell that lingered and even stuck to our clothes. While the staff was friendly and polite, and the location was good and felt safe, I wouldn’t stay here again and cannot recommend it to others. The condition of the hotel is just too unpleasant to overlook.
The Kitchenette having a bathroom sink above the counter was nonsensical and the wood floor had some areas of gap which could easily cut your foot! Service was good otherwise !
Be aware, they are charging for mini bar even if you did not use it. I would never stay here again. Suggesting to all guests, if you end up staying here - take a picture of the mini bar once you checked it and before check out.

Upon check in the first room smelled awful and was unkempt. There were piles of what appeared to be bug larvae in numerous spots in the room. The shower did not function properly and it looked like a toddler painted the entire room. The AC dripped from the ceiling and the elevator barely fit an adult and luggage. There is no parking and when I left and came back to the hotel where I was told to park was full and there was no solution. I ended parking 6 blocks away and received a parking violation.

Hello Ashley. We are a historic Art Deco hotel, so we do not have parking at the hotel, which is typical in this area of Miami Beach. The closest parking garage is located across the street and there are also metered parking spots along the street with fees from 1/Hour to about 30/Day. Always check signs for fees and rules to avoid being ticketed or towed. We have weekly preventive maintenance to avoid any insect issues since we are a warm weather destination.
