Hi, I recently went to mezeh (today) as you can see under my profile rewards account. I love love love mezeh! However, this experience was not as great for me. I have been a long time customer as you can likely see my past transactions among the years in Charlottesville. However, this experience included workers who were not friendly. The online order stated: brown basmati rice, spinach; chicken shawarma, extra protein: falafel; turkish olives, caramelized eggplant, spicy feta dip, roasted corn, classic hummus, israeli couscous, spicy hummus, crunchy chickpeas, sun-dried tomato salad, sumac cucumbers, lemon garlic sauce. The bowl did not contain any chicken shawarma, caramelized eggplant, roasted corn, or spicy hummus. Hello, I don't want to post this as a review because there's no need to say it in public but I picked up a to go order earlier this evening and the pizza was completely uncooked, unfortunately only relized after my kid had eaten a bit and found it "weird" hah. I looked and pulled a piece off, finding it was cold dough and unmelted cheese so figured it just hadnt made the final pass in the ovens. I would like to start off by saying I LOVE Mezeh. The food is always delicious, and I try and come by at least once or twice a month. In the last few months, the employees have been entirely less than friendly. I worked in food service for many years and when a customer walks up to the counter, you don’t simply ignore them. I would expect at least a “hello” or “I’ll be right with you”. This most recent visit on 6/15 at 4:40pm, I walked up to the counter and was ignored for several minutes. I’m in quarantine (friend tested positive so I’m playing it safe) so that’s why ordered pick-up. But I got home and there was no rice in my bowl. And compared to when I order in-store, my portion seems half the size. I’m a little disappointed, Abby

I placed a door dash order for myself and a co-worker; I ordered the falafel; but when I received it, it was/is so burnt that 1) it was/is burnt all the way through and 2) tastes and smells like week old fryer grease. I order this quite often, but the last several times this is how it has been. I was so put off the last couple of time by this, that I went quite a while before ordering again tonight. needless to say - it will be quite a while before I will order from there again.
