Pretty good all around printer Well made. Good on text and copy. Pictures and graphs are only OK. Duplex printing is great. Wish duplex worked for copies. Ink cartridge lasts a long time. Wi-fi connection is strong.
Great rear feed color printer Please continue to make a rear multi-sheet feed printer - they are hard to find! We use to load checks to print from our software when paying bills and doing payroll. So much easier than trying to load them into a paper tray under the printer. You can view them as they come out to verify the check numbers, etc.
fast and affordable This machine was very simple to set up and start using. It came with ample ink and good instructions. We've been using it for a little over a month now and are completely happy with it's performance. Prints fast and very legible (both black & white and color). We've also printed some labels with it and had NO problems either. Scanning pages to email and faxing are a breeze also. It's an awesome machine at a great price point. Would definitely buy it again.
Very nice features and good quality Very good quality for printing, scanning, and copying, including high resolution prints and photographs. Fast and easy to set up and use. A bit more up front cost than my last printer but came with a huge supply of ink cartridges that make it a very good overall value. Only slightdrawback is the large footprint on the desk, required to accommodate larger paper sizes.
Very Functional This machine has several really nice features. It does double sided - prints fast enough for personal and home office use. Hard to wake up sometimes when in sleep mode, but not a major issue.
Non profit office This printer is awesome for our non-profit organization. Does everything the larger office copier/scanners do
Performed as expected All features are performing as expected. Glad we chose Brother and this model.
So much better than HP! Have been a loyal HP Printer user for years. Got tired of always needing more ink as it seemed the ink low message occurred soon after new ink was installed. Tried this Brother MFC-J5830DW Printer - WOW! Absolutely no complaints and the ink seems to last so much longer than with the HP.
Review of Brother MFC-J5830DW XL Printer I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I was able to setup the printer fairly easily using the instructions. The printer worked immediately after installation. I was able to print basic documents. I did have some issues printing from my web browsers, but that was likely due to a problem with the browsers and not with the printer itself.
