Home Office Workhorse Purchased this for my home office about two months ago. It was easy to set up and is now the go-to wireless printer for my family. Principally used to print text and mixed text and images. Works well if your needs are for a solid plain paper printer.
Great printer for small businesses I am in love with this printer. I kept having problem with my HP printer and decided to go ahead and get the Brother MFC-J5830DW. It works very well. My only issue is that it is a bit noisier than my other printer and that I can't scan double sided.
So far so good So far so good haven't really had any real problems, seems like a lot of people are putting their trust in this product because I'm often asked questions about certain things from amazon customers and thats a good thing sometimes, also i haven't figured out how to scan multiple pages and make it all into one adobe acrobat file instead of multiple files or a file per page if someone at brother could let me know i would appreciate that.
Impressive I purchased the MFC as an emergency replacement. I needed an all in one printer with double-sided printing and printing for envelopes and cards. I'm especially impressed with the ink capacity and quality. The ink is vivid, and the cartridges haven't run out yet. The only thing that brings it to a 4-star instead of 5 is weight. It's a heavy printer. Muscles are required.
Great Impovements Great improvements over the last version of Brother "home business" coppier that I had. New ink catridges seem to last much longer. I love the fact that the envelope printing slot is now compatible with Stamps.com.
Great Machine Great machine for our office, I thought with ink for printing that we would be buying non stop but that hasn't been the case. It's very fast to print with wireless connection from anywhere in the office.
prints fast it's perfect for my small office. I love that I can print my text, received fax and scan all in one. the only inconvenience is the small paper tray. I run out of paper almost daily
A GREAT Printer I am very pleased with this printer. I replaced my "old" hp 1012 and hp OfficeJet 6500. They had served me well, but the Brother MFC-J5830DW performs much better. The cost of ink is a big plus. I am a pastor and most of my printing is bulletins and sermon notes. I highly recommed this printer.
Great printer I work this printer hard and it does a great job for me. This is the 2nd one I have bought for another co worker.
