The repeated times of bank statements and paystubs when nothing has really changed since the first time they pulled our credit. Also running credit without prior authorization is unacceptable. We asked questions and sometimes never received any response. We will be refinancing with someone else after 6 months.

Very unimpressed with communication and the length of time it took to get pre-approved. My husband and I were wanting to get a mortgage and this is where the builder directed us and it's not that the communication wasn't great...it was that it was not there at all. I would not recommend them to anyone. It took around 3 weeks if not longer to even get pre-approved and that was not due to lack of documents or us getting items back to them. VIP was the worst. Never met Michelle or Aimee in person! Always through email. which is really frustrating, Specially when you have questions or concerns. The only time I talked to Michelle on the phone was when I told her I was looking at other lenders, and that’s when they were willing to negotiate… check with many more lenders before thinking VIP!
