I really wish I had better experiences here, because it is a convenient location and they usually have same-day availability. However, I have literally never been seen within a reasonable amount of time-- they charge my card and then I typically have to wait 40-60 mins past my appointment time just to be seen by staff, and once they are in the room with me they seem to only have 2 mins that they can give me before they have to leave to see another patient, so my diagnosis/ care plan are typically half-assed anyway. This is the most ridiculous place. If you look at the google reviews, there are too many complains how they charge customer with ridiculous surprising bill is. My wife needed a Covid test, and cvs charges around $70. When we asked, this place said they will have the insurance cover the Covid test. So we went there with a long journey, my wife was asked to have a few minutes exam of blood pressure measurement. Midwest express clinic in Skokie, the billing department and front desk they are the most unprofessional people are working there. I am very disappointed, frustrated how much mess they made in my credit history. They gave me unnecessary stress by making all those wrong billing. I will never go there and I suggest people to get better options.

Update: by the time Amelia wrote this response, she had already spoken to me, and the end result was one of her snotty employees calling me back - after two days of trying to get a refill for a mental health medication - to gleefully tell me I am no longer welcome at any of the Xpress locations due to the rude way that I spoke. Anyone that relies on antidepressants knows there is a severe affect when one stops taking medication. Billing is still wrong 9 months after the service was provided. Called numerous times with billing department for them to confirm. Emailed and called with patient rep who confirmed they billed it incorrectly. They redid it and it's still wrong. Seriously the worst business model I've ever seen. You will be charged for services you never received.

I do not recommend coming here unless you want to be charged over $250 without knowing. Before I went I called and looked online to make sure my insurance was accepted and it was it was. When I arrived the receptionist was pretty rude when I asked about my insurance again and if I needed to pay anything. Her response was no but you have to give me a card to put on file. Toxic environment to work in and as a patient. The laundry list of what is wrong with this business, would be like writing a novel. People that rate this facility with 2 or more stars have no standards, extremely low expectations and most likely just suck at life.

I received really excellent care at Midwest Express Clinic. The reception staff was great, and the medical assistant and doctor were patient and attentive. However, I, unfortunately, can't recommend this clinic for anyone who is currently low-income. I'm currently experiencing homelessness and on Medicaid. Before going to Midwest Express Clinic to receive care I checked their website to see if they accept Medicaid, and it said that they do. To be completely honest, at first I thought this place wasn't so bad. My perspective changed when I asked for a simple doctors note stating that I was at the office to hand into my professor so I was able to get dismissed appropriately from class because my appointment took way longer then it should've.
