I have been here many times in the last few years and the last experience was horrid! Had a terrible ear ache and thought while I was there I'd also get another Antibody test, as I had Covid just over three months ago. Finally got in, had my two young kids with me, and a "nurse practitioner" who might have just graduated last week, came in to take my blood for the antibody test. DONT EVER STEP INTO THIS OFFICE. And no it does not even deserve 1 star... This business should be reported to the IDPH. could not name another business that has tried to profit from fraudulent billing services than this. Two Covid tests that they did not bill the insurance, knowing that it would be covered. First bill from October was received end of January. My visit was fine. When I went to pick up my prescription the Walgreens pharmacy across the street stated that the directions they received from the provider (Midwest) for prescription didn't make sense and they couldn't release it until the provider responded to their fax. I walked over to Midwest and explained this to them and they started their fax was down and they said they would call over and clarify. 3 hrs later I go back to the pharmacy and they stated that the provider still hadn't contacted them. The exact thing happened to me, that happened to Katelyn B. Very deceptive billing practice. I had no covid symptoms. Was just getting a covid test in order to visit with elderly relatives, to ensure I was negative. I'm a physical therapist at Northwestern Medicine and will make sure to spread the word for no one to go to Midwest Express clinic. As a provider I'm aware of honest billing practices and Midwest Express does not have honest billing practices. Do not go here.

I went to this location for a COVID test. Positives include easy registration, very friendly staff, clean facility, quick process. I do warn everyone though about how they bill through insurance. There was no way to get your results without having a virtual visit with a provider (negative or positive). While the initial visit and labs were included on my insurance, the virtual visit for my results hit me with a $50 charge. I have been happy with the service from Midwest Express Clinic; however, my negative review is with the clinic's billing practices. I went to the clinic on 7/29 for an appointment. I gave my phone number, email, and left an HSA on file for any charges. 4 months later I get a bill for $200 with the statement date of 11/12. Less than a week later, I received a collection notice email from a debt collector.
