Make sure they double check before you go in for a recall that they have the part. I guess the driver airbag is not important.
Less than stellar experience. While arriving for a simple warranty repair my paperwork had multiple up sell options already written on it. If a year old BMW needs a fuel system clean then maybe I should stick with Volvo. I’ll find another location going forward. Furthermore the advisor was unorganized, failed to advise me on what was needed for the repair (and it wasn’t disclosed on my paperwork) and continued to make excuses on why they where behind (your personnel problems aren’t mine).
I hope this review will help others to avoid the problem I experienced with MINI of Dallas. Two years ago I bought a certified used MINI Countrimen from them. I was assured at the time of purchase that the car had been thoroughly inspected, certified and in excellent condition which was also supported by the two year warranty. What I was not informed about and what was not mentioned in the certification papers was that an aftermarket/ non-genuine MINI windshield was installed in the car by the previous owner and consequently... read more
My wife and I bought a car from Mini of Dallas 6 years ago. The car has been great until recently. We have brought the vehicle in 5 times in the last 4 months for the same issues and and each time are charged hundreds or thousands of dollars to get it fixed. The car then has the same issues weeks later. Mini of Dallas has been very responsive and understands our frustration but has not fixed the car issues even after 5 visits and over 4,000 dollars in repairs. I'm open to any suggestions on how to insure that Quality work is... read more
Stay away from Autonation. They won't honor warranties. We bought a BMW in Dec of 2007 (title shows December 20 2007) and in November brought the car in because it needs a new catalytic converter to the tune of close to $5000. Because the car was built in November of 2007, Autonation BMW is now saying Autonation will not honor the warranty for this item despite the fact we bought the car less than 8 years ago (8 year warranty on Catalytic converters). So now here we are 3 days before Christmas hiring an attorney. Stay away f... read more
Beware: Mini of Dallas will damage your car, take no responsibility for it, then overcharge you to fix it. Unscrupulous dealership to say the least. More interested in bilking the customer than actual customer service.
Called to make an appointment to get my brake pads and sensors replaced. Got hung up on twice, told I called BMW, and then that I should try calling again later. After seven phone calls anf no appointment or even price quote I will be going elsewhere to get the work done .
