Mortgage Investors was recommended to me, which is a good start as someone else was comfortable enough to recommend them. My first conversation with them was at 8pm, which quickly told me and showed me how responsive they were. They made it a point to communicate constantly, explain things when needed, and were available for questions. My loan process had challenges, but they worked with me through the process. They have your best interest at heart.
