Overall I really like Mountainside Fitness gyms. My home gym is Mesa and love the daycare. The gym is nice and is always clean. The only reason I dont give this Mountainside five stars is because the other Mountainside have much nicer equipment. Everyone at the Mesa gym pays the same as the Gilbert gym, but they have more equipment and newer. I am mostly talking about assault bikes!!!

This place is basically a second home for me now. The gym is always so clean and the atmosphere is always so warm and inviting. Towel service is such a great thing to have here especially since very very few gyms offer it. The management here cares about the gym and it does feel like its always currently being updated!! (not to the point of where it would have to shut down for a day or anything-just to clarify, they are really good about doing maintenance either at after hours or when it wouldn't distract anybody). Great place to go. Friendly staff. Clean. I'd give one more star if they would find a way to stay open on Holidays that not everyone celebrates in the same way in the evenings. It seems that they almost look for excuses to close early. Christmas - I get it. 4th of July - Not getting the reason to close early here! How about giving overtime for a staff member to stay and work until regular closing hours? Or look for a volunteer - perhaps someone isn't planning on partying tonight and then the members can get their workout don... read more

My trainer Toni is the best! She is super motivating! And every workout I do with her I'm always sore !!! This gym is clean and everyone that works here is nice! Kids care is open 12 hours on the weekdays and there is cameras to watch your little ones while you work out!

I had no complaints with this gym until an employee by the name of Sidney accused my friend and I in the most rude way of one of us not having a membership and sneaking in! Even after I kept saying we did have a membership she said no we didn't and she was positive one of us was sneaking in. After I proved her wrong she didn't apologize and still continued to give us attitude! This gym has the best classes and instructors. It is clean and has lots of options like kettlebells, TRX, and medicine balls. The kids care is amazing, my kids are excited to go. Overall it's my favorite gym I've been to, and I've been to at least 5 in the area.

For the price you pay and for what you get, this gym is great! The staff are always friendly when you get there and they always have fresh towels ready for you. Plus, their equipment is great. I have even noticed they have updated a few things (stationary bikes, stair climber) over the past few months. No complaints from me.

This is a great gym! I came here from out of town and was able to get a month long pass for a very reasonable price. It's very clean, especially the locker room, bathroom, steam room, and sauna. The staff is friendly too. They have a huge kids room with a jumpy house that I never used.
