I had a high debt to income ratio, however I also had perfect credit. My mortgage company, who had been soliciting me for years to refinance, turned me down two days after I submitted an application with a, "Once your debt to income ratio is more in line, give us a call back". I then logged onto Lending Tree and put a check mark next to Mutual of Omaha who responded immediately with a phone call from Kenny.
