To say that Mr. Jarboe and his staff deliver below average service is definitely an overstatement. This team, is made up of a bunch over procrastinating, careless people who REALLY don’t give a rats about their customers unless maybe you have a very high ticket loan that’s worth closing the deal on time to them. They didn’t send my file to their underwriters until the morning of closing so my loan NEVER closed! Scott really made this process as arduous as possible and delayed my closing because he had failed to perform his duties in a timely fashion. There were constant failures to anticipate the needs of the underwriting team, and he always had a snarky response when questioned about that. I have a nontraditional job as a traveling nurse, and Scott never missed an opportunity to complain about how much trouble it was for him to input the data that i sent him. They were discriminating against me based on my employment being family, which would have never been presented if I knew the levels of accusations and subtle hints to us being dishonest, they asked for my families business returns which is number one illegal, number two had no bearing on a house purchase I was solely the one buying, I also looked up the law then contacted an attorney who advised me never present any paper outside of my finances. Poor Communication - I have purchased 3 houses prior to this one. The steps can be confussing. My expectation is that my lender walks me through what I need to do. Also, there are steps that I am not supposed to be involved. This causes even more confussion. Case in point - Closure Document. Monday was a holiday (1/16), the CD process with the Trust company started on Tuesday. We had 6 different copies of the CD sent out. All saying "Final". Scott was pretty responsive throughout the process, but not as much so toward the end. I would've appreciated more communication & introduction of other team members & calls to review items for signature. CD was late was & not close to what was estimated. Team did not communicate & share info with title & realtor as I requested. All parties involved, overlooked the HOA transfer fee on the CD which caused delays on closing by one day

The mortgage industry swung from giving loans to everyone with little to no documentation/accountability - which was dumb - to the opposite pole where the amount of documentation and quadruple checking every last hair on the applicant's head is positively obnoxious, as well as invasive...isn't this why we have things like credit scores...to gage a customer's credit worthiness?
