I receive help in the morning to wash and dress. The carer also makes my breakfast and a hot drink. I also have a carer visit in the early evening to help me change for bed and prepare an evening meal. I have severe arthritis which hampers my movement and the carers are very gentle, they also help with things such as hand washing and opening jars. I would not manage on my own without this help.

Generally happy - staff friendly and willing to learn. Generally kind and warmhearted. Perhaps timekeeping and leaving early is a consistent issue, not one I've dealt with. Overall good experience.
I contacted My Life as I wanted to investigate the use of extra help in the home if, as has happened in the reticent past, I needed extra help when discharged from hospital. My Life understood this and were extremely helpful in putting in place a temporary twice weekly service for 2 weeks whilst I recovered from an accident and my usual helper in the house was away on holiday. Generally please with what is usually a reliable service.
Found My Life purely by searching online. My mother was being discharged from hospital and I needed reliable support for her. The business manager was very helpful and saw her in hospital. All the staff have been great really can't fault them. I'd recommend them 100%.
MyLife supply carers at 7:30 am and 5 pm. The carers in the morning help me with a hand wash. They also make porridge for breakfast and a cup of coffee. They also fill a thermos with boiling water so that I can make a hot drink. At 5 pm the carers make a sandwich which is kept in the refrigerator for the next day's lunch. They also prepare a vegetable stew for my evening meal. The carers help me get into my sleeping shirt. They fill the thermos again so I can make hot drinks in the evening.
Arrangements are very good overall. Staff on the whole very pleasant. Some care staff are more competent than others. Punctuality of visits sometimes not as wished (but I understand reasons for delays).
Good value.
