Deceiving and unprofessional. Very seldom do I take the time to write a review, however this experience left me in awe from how poor the service was during my visit. I have boarded my dog here many times since moving to Naperville 2 years ago but never have I had such a disappointing and irritating experience. Switched to Naperville animal hospital 10 yrs ago to take care of our dog and other animals that inhabited our house at one time or another. Really feel last couple of years it is not as good. Last year of my dogs life to be focused more on treatments and meds. Last week of her life asked if she was dying as she was so unwell - told no and had hundreds of dollars of X-ray, lab and new meds. Dr. Klingsporn should not be allowed to practice!! Please take a look at Christine's post just 9 days ago which has some similarities to this! I'm going to keep this as brief as possible. March 17th is a day that will haunt me forever and I will make sure they are reminded every year as well!! AVOID THIS EMERGENCY VET! AND DR. KLINGSPORN!!!! My nightmare started on 10/31 around 11pm. I had gotten home and found that my dogs had gotten into a fight. We had gone to Wheaton animal hospital before, so I called the office and got the emergency number from their voicemail. When I called the man who answered was clearly upset to even have to answer the phone. I should have seen the red flags and hung up then. The first thing he said was "it's $150 to just walk in. We called because our cat was very sick. I told them I was on disability and the office lady said we cld work out a payment plan. Now no one has a clue who informed us of that information. So odd that everyone forgets things in less than half an hour
This hospital needs to learn what customer service is. The front desk people just do not care, and the office manager is worse. We've given this hospital a few chances to redeem themselves...but we've given up and are going elsewhere.
Our pets have been patients here for a few years, and have had many negative experiences, culminating in very insensitive treatment by some when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize our dog after a short battle with cancer. I have a diabetic dog and we have used Naperville Animal Hospital for several years. I was purchasing our insulin from the vet at $71.63 per bottle. Fortunately, I belong to an online Canine Diabetes Support group and a member posted that Chewy.com sells insulin for $29.63 (with FREE shipping over $50). What kind of vet would seek to make such an exorbitant profit off the medicine of a sick animal? SHAME, SHAME on them. Will be switching to a new vet.
I can't believe the terrible front office service that continues here! The doctors are amazing but the girls who work the desk.... ok, most of them have no customer service skills. They have no training in acting like my pet is an important client. It makes me worry about leaving my pets in th Update..... I was sent a card to tell me it's time for a annual check up for my dog! I only have birds. Further evidence that this place is not particularly concerned about my most important pet Bird!
