I've given this place a few chances and nearly everytime they mess up. Today was the last chance and they ruined it. They don't go over paper work, or fill out proper RX. Told me I didn't need an prescription... well guess who did? I've called and left messages and question about my pet. I get two different calls from two different vets saying two different things. July 11 my bunny died here.I brought him in to be neutered after the hospital has reassured me they were well experienced in performing surgery's on rabbits.The receptionist told me they'd give my rabbit a physical exam prior to make sure he was healthy for surgery. I asked for the paperwork to find out why my bunny died from a surgery that has a very low risk of any complications (about 1% chance). When I saw the documents, they didn't do the physical exam. My son took our dog for his monthly shot and med refill. They brought out dog out without giving him the shot and charged up $56 for a checkup without bothering to consult with us first. It took a lot of back and forth to make the 'new girl' understand that my dog can go into a relapse if he doesn't get his shot today. She was perfectly fine with sending my son home and then having the doc call me back so that my son would go back again for the service he had specifically asked for when he handed our pet. This place was horrible. I went there today because my dog got into chocolate. I rush there because their website says it is open and it is the nearest animal hospital. I get there and try calling- the phone just rings with a response that says the line is busy try again. I go to look at the door for more information and it says to just dial the same number and keep dialing if the call doesn't go through. Brought my cat in to be declawed & for some reason, they didn't do the laser which I requested. I was doubting the price at pick up, but I was so concerned about how to keep her paws dry (she puts them in her water bowl) but they weren't much help. I made an appointment TWO WEEKS ago. When we arrived, I was told there was no record of our appointment. Last time we are ever going there.
After reading mixed reviews, I was hesitant to bring my kitten in. Unfortunately, the other vets I was interested in were booked until end of July, and I was anxious to get my 9 week old kitten his first set of shots. Naperville Animal Hospital Almost 2 months of tests and exams that cost more than a thousand dollars and they cannot even find out what is wrong with my cat. On top of that, we have requested for his medical records and they can't even figure out how get them for me so I can send it to the insurance company . Every one is just so incompetent and that includes the vets who checked my cat out.
