I came to their ER out of desperation. Dr. Sessions, an internist, knew almost immediately that we had been going down the wrong path with our diagnosis and treatment. With a 14-year-old, debilitated pup, we didn't want to get our hopes up but he told us she would have a better quality of life almost immediately, and he was correct! She has a lot of issues and it's a balancing act every day, but it is comforting to know there is an alternative for care as compassionate and professional just down the road. Picked up our girl, Lizzie, today after her second ACL surgery. Dr. Roach and all the staff are always so friendly and caring. They are always crazy busy but you never feel as though you are being rushed. Everyone takes the time to make sure you understand what the surgery entails, then after surgery, the care and precautions you need to take, physical therapy details, medicines and the details of the actual surgery - you meet with the nurse, the physical therapist and the doctor. Super caring, very fast with an emergency. This may be a small thing on the scale of a pet emergency, but the waiting room is warm and not clinical at all.
