I came to their ER out of desperation. Dr. Sessions, an internist, knew almost immediately that we had been going down the wrong path with our diagnosis and treatment. With a 14-year-old, debilitated pup, we didn't want to get our hopes up but he told us she would have a better quality of life almost immediately, and he was correct! Picked up our girl, Lizzie, today after her second ACL surgery. Dr. Roach and all the staff are always so friendly and caring. They are always crazy busy but you never feel as though you are being rushed. Everyone takes the time to make sure you understand what the surgery entails, then after surgery, the care and precautions you need to take, physical therapy details, medicines and the details of the actual surgery - you meet with the nurse, the physical therapist and the doctor. My sweet Odin, an American Bull Dog suffered from an incurable condition for several years. Dr. Kelly Wang was his vet and she is a highly skilled endocrinologist. Dr. Wang was creative, responsive and came up with a winning strategy for several extra years of life for us to enjoy Odin. But he finally fought all he could and on Monday morning we had to bring him into the ER.
