RecommendedI was so very pleased with the Veternarian my dog visited. I felt he gave her a thorough exam and explained his concerns for her following a fall of about 25’. She was sore but treated like a baby human and they found no sign of broken back or forearm’s in x-rays. The Doctor gave her a through check and did not frighten me with possibilities of what could or may happen just brief facts and concerns. I brought Puppy, my 9 year old best friend in for a cancer screening after my regular vet was suspicious of some lumps. Dr. Vancil gave Puppy a brief examination and then gave me a very informative talk about what he thought was going on ( fatty benign lumps) and tests that were needed to confirm his opinion. He was honestly the most straight forward and knowledgeable vet I've ever seen. Although I didn't have a previous relationship with you, you accepted my kitty, Yuki after she died so she could rest with you over the weekend until Pet Angel opened on Monday. I was not able to be in attendance in person for my feline child who was referred here for an echo on his heart. My husband took Alastor in my place, and they were so kind to phone me in on the appointment and consultation to explain, educate, and answer any and all questions I had. I'm so very thankful for the kindness bestowed upon my family, including Alastor!
The staff was great and very thorough with our buddy, Moose, as well as with us and our budget. Not the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon, but if you need them they’re great.
RecommendedNVS to me is the Vandy of the Veterinary world. Vandy is our only local level 1 trauma center. If I was in serious trouble, this is the place I would want to be. When my pets are in trouble, NVS is the only place I would want to be. Our first experience with NVS was with our first Yorkie Sasha back in 2015 - 2016. She had a bad mitral valve and would have coughing fits where she couldn’t breathe. NVS saw her several times and helped pulled her off of the first couple until her little heart just gave out.
