Not happy at the moment with them. They have given me a settlement offer from one of my creditors asking for over $500.00 a month when I was paying them around $135.00 per month when I joined the program almost 2 years ago. I just received a court summons from the creditor and *** is working on that.

I have been with National Debt Relief since December of 2022. At first I was very enthusiastic with the program but now almost 3 years in I am very unhappy with them. I signed up to pay $356/bi weekly. Since it has been so long with no negotiations the creditors are now going to court. When I send the paperwork to *** they are telling me they need $2000 more from me. I am struggling to pay the $356 where do you think I can get $2000. I have noticed through the years that most of the money I am putting in are going towards th... read more

DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU HAVE ACCOUNTS WITH DISCOVER, *************** OR ********. DO NOT. Each time they settled with a creditor they ended up higher than expected which led to an increase of my monthly payments each time. This program was incredibly help....at first. Until the payment increases shot up my cost well over double close to triple.ON TOP OF THIS THEY FAILED TO REPRESENT ME LEGALLY. They allowed a lawsuit that I had sent in promptly to go unresolved and led to a judgement being placed against me. I'm still in thei... read more

Unfortunately, *** is misleading. I have invested almost $6,000 to remedy my financial debt situation. I was so happy to find a business to help me get out of debt. After researching how money was paid out to creditors, I realized that very little went to them. I suggest anyone considering *** be cautious and do your research. Better yet, dont do anything with them.

The high-pressure tactics are very uncomfortable. I wanted time to think about it and kept getting told 'This will expire" etc. I was pressured into signing with the promise i could back out within a few days. I have been trying opt out of the program and suddenly there is no more contact.

I completed the full process with national debt relief in mid 2024. I was under the impression that all of my debt collections were resolved.I had a collection with ************** in the amount of $588. This was the last collector to pay because they were being the most difficult. I specifically remembered they only wanted to talk to me and would not negotiate with a *** agent. As I was mediating back and forth, I specifically remembered the conversation with a *** agent. They were to mail ************** a check in my name a... read more

This program is a joke. Yes, it certainly seems like a good deal in the beginning, and I did get relief in the beginning. However, now I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. They have already increased the biweekly amount once and tried to increase it today by over $800 a month. I asked, and I will probably have to go to court anyway. I should have just filed for bankruptcy and been done with it if I had to go to court. You can't take blood from a stone. This company preys on already vulnerable people, and I am worse of... read more

I'm near homeless and have a levied bank account due to this program.I contacted *** because I was dealing with a divorce that had financial ruin. I was managing paying the many credit cards (15) and my credit was a decent 680 - 675. I joined this program and told don't pay anything because if i did it would be harder to negotiate a settlement. *** locked me in until May 2028. I started in October 2023. It is now May 2025, and only 6 cards have been negotiated and 3 paid off. Thank you. I started getting collection letters a... read more

Been in the program for about 17 months now, have been sued 7 times whilst in the program, they keep asking for more money every month despite me stating my budget and outgoings, its total hit or miss depending on who answers the phone, some are super nice and helpful, others tell you to remove accounts from the program and go it alone for those creditors. Im averaging about 90% settlements some higher (one is 117% when you add their extortionate fees) The paralegal assigned to my case has made several mistakes, I did ask fo... read more
