Spa turned green for first time ever and there's no way to verify it's doing anything. This is the first time my spa ever turned green and there's no objective way to tell it's working. I bought this item for my spa with ozonator based on the reviews I saw. I'm not very familiar with silver ion technology, and assumed the special tests strips actually tested for the ions in the water, but it turns out you can't really test (outside of a lab) for the presence of silver ions. Effective and stable After unsuccessful attempts with bromine to sanitize my spa, I have moved to the Nature2 stick. All I can say is it works for me. The water parameters are stable; water looks, feels, smells clean. All I do is follow the manufacturer's instructions to the letter which is simple enough. Water change 3 times a year with moderate to heavy use. If you have had some frustrations with keeping your water, try this thing.
I've switched to the Nature2 system After owning a pool for 20 years which we treated with chlorine I felt uncomfortable going chlorine free. We are now three weeks into using the Nature2 system without chlorine and our spa is as clean as can be with no chlorine odor. This system is reducing the cost of ownership of the spa.
Didn't notice anything Bought this while purchasing some filters. My chemical balance didn't change at all when I installed this piece of plastic in my filter. I won't obstruct the filter for this thing ever again. Hate to throw plastic in the landfill, but when you buy something that was made outside the USA, it tends to be crap and you dump it within a few months.
No good for me. Did not work for my tub. This turned my water green. There seems to be some positive reviews so it may work for some, but certainly not for me. After reading a lot lately on water chemistry, frankly, not sure this is a viable long term product. You still need to sanitize with chemicals but just not as much. less chlorine using the nature 2 system allows us to use less chlorine and the water doesn't smell like chlorine anymore but it's also cleaner.
Jacuzzi brand is better if you have a Jacuzzi It performs as expected as far as keeping the water clean and clear. The support stick makes my Jacuzzi J-470 read a "FLOW" error message, as it blocks the grid at the bottom of the filter and restricts the water flow. I would rather have the Jacuzzi version that fits in the lid of my filter.
doesnt work with the swim time inflatable spa i dont know why this is recommended as "frequently bought with"....it's much to big to fit inside the filter...absolutely doesnt work
I don't see any difference in water quality waste of money in my view, but since I have to write so many words, I will keep typing until now.
