Want green water? Buy this. You are supposed to be able to put this cartridge in the middle of one of the hot tub filters & forget it for upto 4 mo. I bought 2 of these so I could get though the entire winter season with very little maintenance. I installed one my wife and I went on a 2 week vacation. Mineral Deposit Build-Up Noticeable Mineral Deposit Build Up when used with Aquifer/Well Based Water Source, Spa Frog doesn't seem to have as much buildup.
The only way to go. I have use them for years. I use these and a little oxidizer once a week, a small amount of oxidizer after each use and shock the tub with oxidizer once a month. That's it..... And a little lemon juice for hard water stains. I drain and clean the tub three times a year and put in a new Nature2 cartridge. No scum. (We don't wear perfumes or oils into the tub) No odors like with Chlorine Nothing that irritates the skin I even have a Nature2 cartridge for our pool also.

Two Stars I can't seem to get anything to work but chlorine. This product is no exception. Maybe it's just me.
Not worth the time or money Bought 5 of these end of February. Used as recommended starting this March. Had water problems with the first installation. After 90 days, drained and installed new filter to start all over. Within 60 days, water again was discolored, left another scum line and filter had a large amount of contaminants from the Spa stick.
