Should List Spas It Is Designed For Didn't fit in my Marquis spa. Broke the post used to support it in the filter so I couldn't return it. Threw it out.
No more hot tub lung! I converted my hot tub to a saline set up and put the Nature2 Spa Stick Mineral Sanitizer into the filter well. Now my water is always crystal clear and smells great. I was about ready to get rid of the hot tub since it was always such a pain to balance. But now it's hardly any work.
Pretty good deal on Spa Stick Sanitizers Local pool and spa supply stores charge quite a bit more than these are listed on Amazon. They seem to work fine, although at first I found that the stick fell down too far into the spa tube compared to the standard sanitizers and I spent a lot of annoying time having to fish the stick out with a piece of wire. The little extensions that come with the stick are there for a good reason and if the spa using it is like mine a couple of those extensions should be attached to the bottom be... read more
Goodbye chlorine! We have used these sanitizer sticks in our spa for a number of years. As advertised they replace the nasty chlorine products normally used and really do last for about 3-4 months. We have not experienced any reaction to this product and there is no chemical smell normally associated with chemical sanitizers.
Owners Manual requires bromide with ozenator. Effect on Warranty? Compatable? I have a new spa with Lucite microban shell. It requires bromide plus it has a built in ozenator. Will this affect the warranty on the shell? There is no specific mention of bromide in warranty but I always wondered why some spas require bromide and others chlorine? Are there parts that might be corroded by one process? Does this stick require a replacement mineral or do you just buy a whole new stick? Do you have to use Cense? They seem to require... read more
doesn't fit in our filters This doesn't even fit in our filter, disappointed! States it fits most hot tub filters, we have a jacuzzi hot tub, seems like that should be a common one
Was ready to give up on my hot tub! My spa guy was out to replace our ozonator and cover and I told him I was really frustrated trying to keep my spa water clean; and was considering selling it (we've had it for 7 years). He suggested trying Nature2 before giving up. So I drained and cleaned my spa as usual and then refilled it. Simply added the Nature2 stick into our filter compartment (won't fit inside our filters) and added the recommended amount of Dichlor to activate it. After each use I add 3/4 ounce MPS non-chlorine s... read more
Wow! Hate chlorine? Try these bad boys. In conjunction with an ozonator, these sticks can make chemicals unnecessary. Keeps the water crystal clear.
Don't really know about this thing... This thing does not fit inside a lot of filters as intended. I just have it stuck inside the filter compartment. Can't really tell if the thing is doing anything. I've always used bromine in my hottubs...YOU CANNOT USE BROMINE WITH THIS PRODUCT. I didn't learn that until after I read all of the instructions that came with the product. I do not like using chlorine...too hard on your skin.
