I use one because I have to! All I can say is that the cartridge arrived quickly and on time. As for usefulness, who knows. I basically use one because my pool installer had a contract with the Nature 2 company and now I have a hole on my pipe that needs to be fooled with one of these. Even the pool maintenance guys said they don't use them in their pools! So, I cannot praise nor condemn this product do to the fact that I have never operated my pool without it. It leaks Similar to one I bought last year, this one also leaks. It leaks out the bottom and the top. In both cases I had to put a bunch of plumbers tape on the threads. This stopped the bottom leak. I also had to remove the top assembly and wrap it with plumbers tape. Still leaks a little.
Minimizes Chlorine use Works good and minimizes chlorine use. Too expensive, more people would buy this cartridge if it was about 25% cheaper.
great product This is not the first time I've used the Nature 2 cartridge for our pool-- I've been using the system for about 10 years. Only one year did I feel like the cartridge wasn't working properly. It reduces chlorine usage tremendously. This year I opened the pool about 2 weeks ago , super chlorinated to initiate the cartridge and haven't had to add any chlorine, even the tablets ,to keep the chlorine level where it should be. Great Item This is one of those items that are supposed to be replaced once every six months. However, I am about the only one who uses my pool so I get buy the entire season, which here in Florida is about four months. You can actually tell the difference with this and if you have an above ground pool and sand filter this is the best thing you can add to your filtration system.
should be eligible for lemon law everyone I buy starts to leak in about a month. pool guy checked out the rest of my equipment and told me it was fine and not the cause of cartridge failure. disappointed I spent so much money on this system!
Great replacement for chlorine use this instead of floating chorine tablets. keeps water clean and you dont leave the pool with that nasty smell.
not worth the $$ I purchased Nature 2 by Zodiac hoping to cut my chlorine use. The unit started leaking out of the top after about 2 months. I contacted the manufacturer and they did nothing about assisting me with a replacement. I followed all the requests they made regarding taking of pictures, as well as supplying my proof of purchase. I even offered to return the unit for a replacement. They did not offer any assistance and were actually rude.
