I do not find the office staff to be friendly at all. It is a business. I feel like a number rather then a valued patient. In the last, I have had tooth pain and they have been unable to see me for several days. The dentist I see is good at what he does, which is why I continue to use this practice. The office is clean and well maintained.

Called for an emergency appointment this morning, only to have trouble verifying my insurance. After repeatedly asking to get the appointment and verify later, an hour on the phone between insurance companies and them to find they gave the appointment away. Also, a few years ago, they refused my husband as a patient anymore because he owed a $10 copay that he didn’t know about. Long story short, this practice cares more about money than they do about helping anyone.
I had a new crown put in because my old existing one broke. I was at this dentist for 2 1/2 hours to receive a new one. The dentist had to put this new crown in twice while cutting my bottom lip which is twice the normal size now. My back jaw is sore to open the normal way. Now over 24 hours since this visit and my jaw still hurts to open and my lip still swollen. I have had this same crown put In my another Dentistry years ago and did not have no where near this experience. It was not a good day for me.
I called to make my first appointment for an exam & cleaning, to get told very rudely that they are booking out until the end of July beginning of August! Is this for real? Who will wait that long � not a very good first impression.
The front end staff here is a revolving door with improper management. Always double check your explanation of benefits from your insurance company! In addition, when my children were patients, one of them had an emergency situation and they flat out refused to see my 6yr old. We now go to the Smile Lodge and we love it, it is so worth the drive!!
Had my first visit with this place yesterday, I had a very badly infected molar, I knew it needed to be pulled, but I didn't think they'd do it that day. Never had a tooth pulled without having to be under anesthesia so I was scared to death. The doctor I seen told me step by step what he'd be doing, I'm grateful for that, but his bedside manner was more than lacking. Very sad to hear today that my dad, Dr. Gertzberg was told that his services were no longer needed. Pretty good send off after 39 years of service to the community and having only 6 working days until his retirement. Absolutely disgusting.
