Been to The Goat, and Nellcotte,too loud. Nia is quite and romantic great food and wine list,too.
On a warm summer evening we preferred sitting outside (rather than inside with its very dark decor)and it was just delightful! We chose the multi-course prix fixe tapas menu for two and it was wonderful! Our server was very attentive and recommended a low cost, but high quality wine. Will definitely return when in Chicago again!
Food was great. Service was rushed.
Nia has become a favorite. The diver scollops and bacon wrapped dates are too good to share. Although the restaurant is small and the menu extensive, every plate is fresh and presents a feast of flavors.

Took my wife to Nia for a romantic birthday dinner. We sat on the veranda and really enjoyed the ambiance. The service was good as was the food, particularly the braised rabbit. The wine list featured some unusual wines, and our server guided us through the selection and made a couple of excellent recommendations. The waiter was right. Sit on the patio and watch the people and the drivers go by is very entertaining. Add this to some great tapas and wine, Makes a great evening.
I've not visited for 2 years, but the taste didn't changed. That's amazing!!
Food was fantastic and the waiter also repalced our wine with a different one which we really liked. The banana bread pudding was delicious. We ordered scallops, risotto, crab cakes. There were 2 scallops for 2 of us and it was perfectly done. The crab cakes sauce was great. Wish the crab cakes were large and 2 instead of small and 4. Eggplant was also great and the goat cheese filling was perfect.
