They are crooks they try to sell you something that you don't need. They also mark up the prices to high. You tell them you do not want it done and then they start coming off the price that was quoted.

I've waited 5 months to write a review because I wanted it to be thoughtful and factual, not emotional. At every step of the process, it seems like the "conventional car wisdom" was thrown at me rather than simply listening to what I said. For example, within the first minute, I was asked what my budget was. No problem, except I had stated explicitly which car(with stock number) I was there to look at. Went to nissan of athens to purchase a versa for my wife with what i thought was pre approved financing from a company i have already been dealing with. Ended up deciding to take a new sentra instead. Wife loves the car. Was told my pre approval was denied at purchase time because i am self employed. They got financing for me. I signed the paper work we left with the new car. The next day, THE VERY NEXT DAY, the original finance company who had pre approved me called to ask when i was going to buy my new car. I had an absolutely terrible experience at Nissan of Athens, I blame this all on an employee named Dexter who works there. I wanted to buy my wife a certified pre-owned Rogue and I talked to Dexter multiple times over the phone about it. When I came to look at the car it wasn't what I expected, the interior and exterior were dirty and the car really wasn't what we had in mind. Trust me I say that this place is a joke. After corresponding with a salesperson and confirming a time to look at vehicle my family and I drove for an hour and a half to the dealership. Upon arrival of the dealership we were informed that the vehicle had been sold that morning. The disturbing thing is we were assured the vehicle was still for sale at 3 pm. They then had the nerve to inform me I should have come earlier

My elderly family member asked me to overlook the purchase she wanted to make. She expressed to the salesman that she was not willing to buy a vehicle without allowing me to review the sales contract. We were able to come up with a deal that we all agreed on. I asked her to leave the dealership and think about the purchase overnight and she and I would both return the next day to sign the papers. She agreed. The whole business is conducted like a scam: giving one price as a bait first, but offering a completely different one later. He talked about $22,000 first and demanded almost $30,000 when it came to closing the deal. Worst dealership experience ever!

I went there with the intent on purchasing a Nissan Sentra for 9,995.00 I told the salesperson I wanted to stay within that budget. However, I was told that the car had been sold, even though I had been told by someone else two hours earlier that the car was still there. However, the salesperson brought out a car of his choice, even though it was a nice car It wasn't what I was really looking for, but he claimed there was no other cars avaible within the price range I was looking for, so I settled for that one. A better sales person would have closed the sales. Refused to accept an appointment for later that same after saying I had to let the process work through the system since I had walked on the lot. Also, wasted time driving around looking for model I wanted instead of checking with office to see if they had one (they didn't). Richard does not return emails in a timely manner, if at all.
