The original loan officer (Dominic Ciffarelli) set false expectations and advised me that he had pre-approved me through underwriting. He in fact did not and almost caused the closing to fail. Norma and her manager Jack did a great job getting things properly handled so that the closing went through. I am fairly certain Dominic committed a UDAAP violation. In my opinion Dominic needs retraining.
It is almost impossible to get a hold of a person at this company. My closing was delayed, my appraisal was low and had inaccurate information, which would have taken 2-3 weeks to correct, so I had to close. My taxes are incorrect on my escrow-way over what is needed, which is making me pay more each month. Use another company!
The team at pen ymac was awesome. Made my life easier and the communicated on a weekly basis. As the loan got closer to close they called me daily and kept me updated. I definitely will use them again.
Awesome experience all the way around with the exception of how close, "closing" was to underwriting. Literally we went through underwriting 1 1/2 days before a 9am closing. That cuts it way to close for customers to not stress over.
Norma was excellent! Very responsive and quick to find resolution. Highly-qualified and very professional.
