RecommendedAfter more than 30 years with Dr. Joe Morrow of Animal General, he had the gall to retire earlier this year!!! Today, I had to find a new vet fast for my ailing 11-year old cat. I walked in unannounced to Northside and in less than 5 minutes Dr. Hall was taking care of Pheelay and making a new friend (me!). Thanks to Dr. Hall. I now have a new vet!
I’m very grateful to the veterinarian, who was kind and compassionate during one of the hardest moments of my daughter’s life. She answered all of my questions and was very supportive when my daughter lost her beloved dog. However, I was deeply disappointed with the behavior of the vet tech, Marisa. Despite being told over the phone that my daughter could say goodbye to her dog in a private room, Marisa was extremely rude and dismissive when she arrived. still waiting for vet to call me. would have liked to have stayed with them but now heard too many bad things thru other ppl and I feel my dog was misdiagnosed all cause they didn't test him and only went by what they thought was going on with him. I love Dr. Stacia and the rest of the technicians and receptionists. They are stellar! I can’t say the same of my experience with Dr. Simone Stewart. She was insensitive, insulting, arrogant, overly defensive to the point of being aggressive and completely unprofessional. She has maybe two years of experience and seems to practice as if she quite nearly knows it all. I have taken my dogs here for years and it was wonderful when Dr. Hall was still around. I am not sure what has happened, but the past 2 visits have been not good. I was given a surgery estimate then told when my dog went for surgery that the estimate I got was wrong and I would have to pay almost $200 more than what they originally told me. We took our 10 month old kitten here because he was having alot of problems with his ears because our regular vet couldn't get him in for a few days. After being highly recommended we decided to try Dr. Stacia. After we were put in a room the Vet Technician came into the room, she then took Q-Tips and was digging into our Cats ears hard enough to were she was bending the Q-Tip. patience with the pet owners. they have a bigger bond with their animals than any vet or tech . and when they ask questions dont be a smart ass twards them. it's a member of their family not yours.
I called Northside yesterday regarding my puppy whom had severe swelling in his paw. I was advised to call them at 8 am this morning and they would work him in. Last night he got worse so I took him to Rivertown emergency and turns out he was bit by a snake. They did all the work up on him and told me to follow up with my regular vet in 2 days.
