My dog was seen there almost two weeks ago for mobility issues. Vet wanted to wait for lab results to determine pain/arthritis med to use. She called me next day with the results and suggested med and price. I found it on 1800petmeds for $50 less and ordered it and they still haven't approved it. When i called all i got told by the receptionist was that she'd check the fax. My sweet old fella paces back and forth because he is uncomfortable. I have finally gotten fed up with rude people on the phone and behind the front desk. They need a class on customer service. I go there for help and guidance but have not gotten any in the past few months with my 2 fur babies. I don't need sarcastic remarks, to be made stupid or not letting me know when something is in my best interest concerning my babies. I will take my business elsewhere, sadly after many years.

office staff is very rude and unprofessional. Them young people getting a paycheck working there just don't give a damn about the clients that have been with the same vet for 20+ years. Dr Hall would not have allowed the rudeness of of his staff. sadly he is not there anymore. I'll take my babies somewhere else from today on.
Recently my mom and I took her large dog in because he was very sick and weak. We were given a diagnosis of end of life due to a large mass that appeared on the X-ray. We were then told that an ultrasound would be definitive but not necessary because he wouldn’t be able to withstand surgery due to age and arthritis. The veterinarian was even able to hold her hands up and approximate how Big this mass was; a small basketball. I was not going to write a review on what happened to my dog their but something happened this last week and it brought back a lot of bad memories. I was using northside when it was sold and my dog Rowdy was a Samoyed and had diabetes was blind for over a year. I was told by the vet I was seeing that his thyroid wasn't working right and was taken off his insulin and put on meds for his thyroid. After using them for a number of years, we moved to another veterinary clinic not long after Hank Hall retired and sold the clinic. We were also crazy about Dr. Clardy but it became almost impossible to see him. Every time we went, we saw someone different. Then they stopped their walk-in policy. Trying to work with that, I called on a Monday with a sick animal and was told we couldn’t be seen until Friday. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I have been using them for 20+ years and today I went to take my sick kitty and was turned away because they no longer take walkins .... I understand change but any compassionate vet would never turn a sick animal away!
