1 hour wait in a tiny waiting room with a bunch of stressed out animals. All the techs complaining and creating drama at the front desk. Dr. Eisner got confused about what vaccines she was giving and then got annoyed when I corrected her. She refused to give my dog all the vaccines she needed on the same day and told us to come back for the rest at no charge for the visit. They charged us anyway for the 2nd visit and at the same time, had no clue why we were there. It was charted that the remaining vaccines were already ... read more
condescending staff, weighed my dog wrong thus prescribing the wrong medicine for his weight. And to top that the instructions for the medicine were written totally wrong! All very simple stuff, we had to second guess everything! i would not recommend this place.
I have to write a review because I truly found this place to be awful. I'm all for a holistic approach towards pets, but it really needs to run in conjunction with traditional (proven) medicine. Not only was their advice terrible (they gave me fish oil for my cat's eye problem, which turned out to be herpes needing proper medication when I took her to another vet) but they made me feel like a monster for giving my pets annual vaccinations (an absolute must where I'm from, and necessary if we're ever to return to the UK). The... read more
Please spare yourself! Don't be tempted by the convenience of the location if you are passing by, like I was. You will end up paying for it in more ways than one. The place is chaotic, when there is no reason for it to be. It is also unclean, stained floor, clumps of animal hair floating around floor and hallway. They will burn you out, even for a simple thing like getting food or medicine. The staff, while nice enough, is largely incompetent. They could be working at Wallmart, and are slow moving and equally uninformed. The... read more
UGH!! This place is still open???????? WHY!! Round 2 updated from previous removed post- AWFUL! Beware and be weary of coming here! The front desk staff is so-so. After waiting 25 minutes past my appointment time i was called into a small room, dirty from the last animal. Dr. Eisner is harsh, she repeatedly made me feel like I was a bad pet owner and that I had it all wrong. She scolded me telling me it had been a long tiring day for her??!! Really? I simply brought my dog in here for an annual visit. I was told my do... read more
I have been to this office on 2 other occasions, this being my 3rd. I have always requested the man Dr because I have heard stories in the local parks about the older short woman Dr and her not so nice bedside manner. The man Dr (Dr Lieman) always seemed to be caring and concerned with my baby and that was what mattered most to me. Today was awful!! I came in to ask a question and possibly bring my pet in but the place was chaotic? The receptionist's are always friendly when I call or come in but are always very busy. Today ... read more
Used Dr Leiman for yrs-he made house calls-was wonderful, caring, gentle. Until we started taking our cats into the office. It's another world around there. Too many people passing through during visit, always interruptions, nothing made clear, but buy the food. One of the girls at the desk suggested that I call another vet. That's exactly what I've done. Stopped calling them
Going to the vet doesn't have to be traumatic, but I guess nobody's told NVC. Otherwise, this place was a complete horror show. We took our dog and cat in together for an annual checkup, and to have our cat screened for Toxoplasmosis at the request of our people doctor. We had to wait 30 minutes past our appointment time just to go into an exam room, and then another 15 minutes to actually talk to the vet. My cat was very nervous to be out of the house, and sitting in their tiny, crowded, and loud waiting area for such a... read more
I will not get into the specifics of what another veterinarian did to correct the neglect and oversight of what Dr. Eisner provided...but I will review my experience. The girl at the front desk was a gem. She seemed to delegate the rants of 'manager', the doctor, and two of the assistants while juggling welcomes and check outs of the patients. (She gets the one star from the review) The 'manager' (who seemed more a glorified receptionist with inventory responsibilities) was infuriating. She was rather rude on the phone,... read more
