Very thorough office staff. Appointment times respected and adhered too. Dr. Birk was very thorough. Took his time to gather as much information from me, combine with my history and other medical tests in order to provide a plan of action. He has a great relaxed and real bedside manner. So far so good, and based on how this visit went I am pretty confident I'll be satisfied with my next as well. Not often does one leave a doctor's office with peace of mind and clarity...I'm delighted I did !
The visit was excellent. Dr. Burke explained my condition which is spinal stenosis perfectly and explained also the resolution to my problem which I was happy to hear. He’s a great teacher x-rays and MRIs were on the screen and everything was there for me to see.
I recently visited Dr. Bork for a consultation regarding surgery. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything with great detail. He immediately made me feel comfortable. My appointment was on time and he did not rush me through it. Looking forward to having my issue corrected with minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Birk gave me a very good consultation regarding spinal stenosis in my neck. As soon as I walked into his office he already had my MRI images up on his large screen TV. He explained what he saw in terms I could understand and the procedure he would do to help me. I never felt rushed, he was easy to talk to and didn't pressure me. I saw him for a second opinion.
Dr. Birk is one of the most caring physicians I’ve ever been to. He’s very thorough & listens to any concerns I have.
Dr Birk is Remarkably Smart n a Very Knowledgeable Spine Surgeon! Did a Job well Done n has helped me Achieve things I couldn't do before Surgery.. Thank You for Skills n Compassion! Guys Cilento
After meeting with two other surgeons in the Pensacola & Gulf Breeze, FL area and encountering nothing but huge egos, attitude and little compassion, I gratefully met Dr Kern. He was direct, attentive and knowledgeable. I underwent a spinal fushion L3 - S1 in July 2019. Completely changed my life... and four years later I am still 100% pain free.
Dr Bork took a very reasonable time with my partner, asked important questions, and explained the reasons for his diagnosis and suggestions . He speaks frankly, carefully, and looks you in the eye. Little or no time wasted with different level practitioners and this is appreciated because it is his expertise that drove our choice of spine specialists. If his surgical skills match his pleasant, forthright manner then we are in the right place.
Sudden, severe pain sent me to a neurosurgeon for emergency treatment. Rather than meet with me himself, the doc sent his PA, who wrote out a couple of prescriptions. It might as well have been a telehealth visit since there was no physical exam, and only passing reference to my MRIs. Dissatisfied, I decided to seek a "SECOND OPINION." Unlike my first experience, Dr Birk met with me personally. He spent quite some time displaying and explaining images from my MRI, showing me precisely what is causing my pain. He suggested se... read more
