The staff seems very attentive and caring to the people. They try to meet the needs of everyone on a personal basis. The place is clean. My husband seems to enjoy the activities. People there seem to be well fed. So far, I am glad that I chose this place for my husband.
Business response:
Thank you for taking the time to leave a five star review. We are grateful for the opportunity to care for your husband.
My mom enjoys living in her new home at the oaks. They have activities all day and she enjoys the outings. She likes the food they serve. They have a library where she’s always puzzling with someone. When she’s not puzzling, she’s teasing or involved in some other activity. It’s the perfect spot for my mom.
Business response:

The administrative staff are always open to meeting with family members to discuss concerns. In addition they will proactively address concerns with family members that concern them. The residents as a whole seem happy and content. There are many staff members that are very good and caring towards the residents. They take their job's seriously and genuinely care for the residents. Overall we have been very pleased.
I can say I would not recommend the Oaks . My wife tells me they have run out of hot water several times . Seems new washing machine's are needed. They have broken done at least once, I had to take her clothes with me to wash them at the house one Sunday. On the weekends the staff seems minimal. The woman who does the billing won't show the billing. It was my idea to for [name removed] to live there. Her son pays the bill out her funds. I am the Husband, I have a right to know.
The staff was fantastic and the food was very good. There are places that look better and that are newer, but when it comes to care for the patient, I think they're wonderful, and yes I would recommend Oaks at Beaufort to other families
Business response:
Thank you for the five star review and recommendation of our community.
Welcoming to both Mother and us (two daughters). Families are included in special occasions and parties. Residents look out for one another! Food looks good and is presented with flowers on the table. Helpful and kind staff. We are very happy with The Oaks and are comfortable with leaving Mother in their care.
Business response:
Thank you for entrusting us with your mothers care. We are grateful for your five star review.
She's been transferred to memory care so the cost went up [fee removed] ! I'm desperately trying to find a facility that accepts Medicaid, she's only 63! However, I do like that they engage with patients on a personal level, could do a better job cleaning rooms I would recommend this community to other families, I feel my sister is safe there

The staff at Oaks at Beaufort are friendly. The housekeeping is fine. Communication with the family is good, but I am always visiting regularly so I know what to expect. I hear no complaints about the food. The current chef is friendly and open to suggestions and needs of the residents. I would recommend Oaks at Beaufort, as the price is good. It is a small facility, so it is easy to reach the staff. The facility has been very good to my brother so far.
