I was very nervous about placing my dad in a facility. He gets turned around so much and he is very busy, always on the go. I wanted a place that he could call home with loving people. The Oaks was the place. They welcomed us and even brought out the red carpet when we arrived. He has been there for less than a month and he fits so well. I can finally sleep at night knowing he is safe, cared for and loved!!
From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that the staff genuinely cares for the residents. The environment is warm, welcoming, and feels like home. The team is attentive and goes above and beyond to meet the unique needs of each individual. They create engaging activities that help keep residents active and involved, and the facility itself is always clean and well-maintained. The first thing you need to do while reviewing this place as an option for your loved one is click on the Google reviews and filter to “lowest ratings”. And believe them. The staff (or lack thereof) allowed my grandfather, suffering from dementia—to be soaked in urine, left unattended in states of confusion, and most regrettably, unassisted as a fall risk resident.
