This place started out as a really great experience for my family. Until the last month they have been nothing but disrespectful and degrading with their behavior. In the last month a majority of his items went missing, he was constantly covered in urine and was never changed, and he was not being taken care of. My family member was there with dementia and we were NOT notified that he had become a fall risk. He was unsupervised (per usual) and fell so hard his head put a whole in the wall. What can I say but kudos!!! It's one thing to have a nice facility and pleasing amenities but without the proper personnel, well...ya just got yourself a pretty building, nothing more. Jannon and the staff at The Oaks at Chanticlear make this a stand out facility. The personal attention to each individual in their care is second to none. The staff has always been so welcoming from the time I walk in the front door. Jannon goes above and beyond to ensure the residents are taken care of. She is in close communication with the nurse practitioner and home health agency they partner with to address any concerns in order to provide the best care for the residents.
