This place is pretty awesome. I really don't like getting an oil change because of the unexpected expenses that seem to come up and long waits, but anyway, they get down to it here. On top of the oil change, I got my front and back windows cleaned and I enjoyed and ice cold sprite all while I sat in my car writing this review. The way they all talk to each other kept me entertained as well. They do offer quite a few recommendations but they don't mind if you turn them away. I'll be returning for sure.

They did it again! the way these team players run this garage is Amazing, I love the way they smile and so much positive energy to get my day going as soon as possible. They always explain everything so well, I will continue to recommend friends and family members. Thank you ALL!!!
Friendly service, they communicate with you throughout the process, discount codes available online. Be prepared for lots of up sell but most things are based on what they find during the inspection process, while some things don't seem necessary. They keep good records and can share your service history with them. Complimentary beverage provided.
I've written a review for OilStop San Mateo in the past and my experience today was no different. Top notch service and care. Five stars to Issac for checking me in and providing a bottle of cold water. Another 5 stars for Gabriel for taking lead on my 33 point oil change service. Gabriel noticed I had my two senior rescue dogs in the car and he took the time to chat with me about them and even offered them treats. That personal touch made this visit really enjoyable. I found this place on Yelp as I am new to the area. It had amazing reviews so I was looking forward to trying it out. The mechanic helping me (Daniel) was very friendly as well as all the staff. They offered me drinks as I waited in my car. Everyone was wearing masks and following COVID-19 protocols and I felt very safe. I relocated temporarily to San Mateo 6 months ago. My 1st week here I took my car to this place for a simple oil change. Waited in line behind a few vehicles for what seem like...forever. I was long overdue for an oil change. Even though I do check my oil level on a bi-monthly base, I needed an oil change especially before an upcoming road trip. Didn't make an appointment, it was a spontaneous decision to get this done. Good thing is that it's unnecessary to make an appointment, just drive up. There were approx 4 cars ahead of me. This was my first time trying Oilstop drive-through. When I arrived I noticed the facility was clean and kept the employees quickly greet you with a professionalism that I've never seen before in a garage. I want to give a special shout out to Johnny who is the manager at this location and I would also like to think Ernesto the gentleman who was maintaining my vehicle. These people are very grateful and polite I can't see much but I will definitely come back.
