Don't waste your money. This home warranty company is just like every other home warranty company. They will find any reason not to cover the major appliances that go out. I had a twenty year old water heater that went out and they would not cover it. The plumber said there was oil in the gas line which caused the water heater to go out. He determined this without even taking the control unit off the water heater. All he did was pull the gas line off where it connects to the shutoff valve. *********.

I think theyre horrible. They close out tickets without telling you. I have an intermittent problem with my icemaker in my refrigerator that likes to just spit ice out all over my floor or jam up in the shoot. I paid for the service to come out and check it out, but it wasnt doing it at the time they were here. I then followed up with the service. We have given them business for 3 years and we will terminate when the renewal comes this ******** only have one phone number to reach out to them and at the mercy of the person on the phone, often not in a good mood. They sent the wrong provider after a long wait and we were charged $110 for the service fee. We after realized and the company itself confessed they dont do that type of work and referee us to another company. We purchased a home warranty from Old Republic at the time of closing on our home, expecting coverage for unexpected issues. I had a very frustrating experience with Old Republic Home Protection. I called at least four different times for separate issues, and every time it took around 30 minutes just to reach someone. The process was consistently stressful and time-consuming.When it came to my refrigerator, the issue was never fixed because they claimed it was a manufacturing problem, so they wouldnt cover it. I have used Old Republic for many years. We have had their warranty for our personal home and rentals. Unfortunately, ORHP is not in the business of taking care of you or your home. The bottom of my water heater started leaking on Thursday night. I called the next morning to ask how much it would cost me at the end of the service. I was told just the trade fee, $100. We had a leak start on April 9th behind our washing machine right before bed shut the water off and waited till the morning of the 10th to call and that was the end of that we have not heard anything back from anyone tried to reach out to them multiple times as well as the so-called company that was supposed to and fix it and nothing no response.
