I open a service claim through Old Republic Home Warranty on 06/22/2026 for my home HVAC system. I was assigned ********** and cooling. My HVAC system was diagnosed and it was determined it needed a new system. mind you this is 06/22/2026. I was given the run around as to getting the necessary person in charge as to what was needed to start the claim. I was not contacted by Old Republic Home Warranty for over a month. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with, I had HVAC issue and it took them 4 days to get someone out to look at my issue and when they got there, they said they couldn't get under my house to check ductwork because they didn't have anyone small enough to fit. So they assigned a new contractor and they told me the same thing. I called and got someone out the same day and they gave me quote to fix it. I live in *********, and my AC went out on Sunday 7/12/2026. I filed my claim immediately and was called by their service company on Monday for a Tuesday morning appointment. I told the Dispatcher that the blower motor was bad. The tech came Tuesday and said a pipe was loose out back; he tightened and left. A couple hours later when it wasn't working again, they came back out. The tech told me the blower motor was definitely bad and needed to be replaced and he'd be back on Wednesday. Then crickets. Absolutely horrible service from this company! Each call is at least a 40 min hold. Still have no resolved our dryer issue after 4 attempts to repair it and they refuse to offer to pay for another one sayin they dont have enough reports. Beyond frustrated with this company!

Requested for water heater repair was rejected and marked as completed. Made attempts to call and waited for over one hour on the phone to correct the issue. No answer after an hour on the call.

Demand copy of Home Inspection, website clearly states no Home Inspection or age of home/equipment requirement. Unable to get a representative on phone, leave you waiting 30 minutes or more. No response to emails. Deny claims instantly.

I have been in the phone waiting for a customer service **** for over an hour!!! They do not answer their calls. They do NOT check on whether services have been rendered or not. I was billed for a service that was never carried out. Luckily, the company that was supplying the service issued a refund check and caught the mistake. Old Republic didn't! I've had this warranty for years and not had issues until recently. Do better!! .

Garbage company and a set scam. They have zero intent of fixing anything of value. ** - forget it. 4 years, every year the same thing - patch up and just make it kind of work for a bit. The ** guy finally just told me - they have no intention of replacing any **. So after this years BS I just quit them. But guess what, they are use to this and have a scam worked out where you cant cancel! Takes serious work to cancel. We have had a terrible experience with OR so far, our AC unit went out, we live in ******* with triple digit heat. The first service technician was sent out 2 days after we submitted which was ok to deal with, the compressor needs to be ***laced. This was early Thursday morning, I contacted OR to please expedite the order since I have 3 dogs and 2 senior cats and a heart sick husband.
