Not a good experience and will not be renewing. Old Republic and other insurers like them have many, many coverage exclusions buried in the fine print that allow them to legally deny coverage. Additionally, the techs assigned to handle your claim vary greatly in expertise and professionalism. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. No need for a response.

I wish I had looked at BBB before I purchased a plan from this company!!! Do not waste your money or your time with them!!! RUN!!!!! According to their own BBB stats, they get a formal complaint every 36 hours and that's only counting the people who actually took out time to file. Imagine the disarray from the ones who didn't!

This will be Old Republics 7th attempt to fix our refrigerator. The second vendor was returning today with a call time of between 9 am and noon. No one has shown up yet. The first appointment the vendor said there was no problem. I had to prove to him that the refrigerator wasn't cooling using several different thermometers. Started with dishwasher issue at rental property. Tried to *************** online, but not category for dishwasher (?). Had to call. *********. I have had Old Republic for years and had outstanding service until December 22, 2025. I called to have my microwave oven repaired. They charged me the fee before the work was even completed? Never asked if the repair was completed. I called and was put on hold for 40 minutes after being passed around from one representative to another. I told them the repair person never showed up between the agreed upon time. They informed me that it was not their problem. They can't control if the repairman shows up as agreed or not. I had this home warranty from old republic for seven years. I paid 150 extra a year in good faith that it was going to cover my air-conditioning and heating. But lo and behold once my air-conditioning went out the technician that they sent out made up stories that children were sitting on it or pets or something to make the warranty no longer valid. Do not get Old Republic as a home warranty. They contract the worst companies to come do repairs. I a horrible experience with Vector Home Appliance in *********. That company has a 2 star rating on ****. I called in and complained after the technician at Vector Home Appliance disregarded everything I said and tried to tell me my dishwasher wasn't leaking.
