A week without AC in ******* in summer time due to old republic lack of response time. I was repeatedly on hold for hours. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had to pay an after hours service fee for their vendor. Unexpected costs and delays.

Ok, since this company wants to play ball and refuse to refund me, lets play ball: Old Republic Home Republic came highly recommended to me from someone that utilized their services. When I bought my home, I had been assured that they had a reliable network of providers for services. The vendors provided by Old Republic Home Warrenty were not good. One locksmith split my door frame by not using a pilot hole and another electrician gave me incomplete and misleading information about my property. I had to spend $100 cash per visit for each service and was left with more damage than effective service.

BEWARE!!! Old Republic Home Warranty is absolute garbage. Their brochures promised everything was covered for the home we purchased (Gold coverage), and any needed repairs would be taken care of quickly. We placed several service requests and each time we had to call them to check the status. Each time we called, we were put on hold for no less than 1 hour, and if we needed to provide information, one person would answer and indicate we needed to talk to someone else, and then we would be put on hold for no less than another... read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had flickering lights inside my home, which was determined by their vendor to be malfunctioning circuit breakers. After Old Republic denied my claim alleging that damaged breakers were "broken intentionally", an independent electrician discovered the panel was fried and actively arcing behind the meter. Multiple licensed electricians, city inspectors, and utility workers confirmed it was an extreme fire hazard that threatened my unit and four surrounding homes. If you enjoy listening to holding music for over an hour (minimum) and hearing about how important your call is to them every 5 minutes, then by all means sign up with this train wreck of a company. Otherwise, do your research and look up Top 10 Home Warranty providers and pick any of them - because you won't find these guys on any of those lists for the simple reason that they are awful. I put in a service request two months ago, the first provider came by, did an inspection, left and I heard nothing back. I had Old Republic transfer me to another provider who ended up doing the same thing. I called Old Republic about getting a refund and was denied even though after two months and two companies no work has been completed.

Called several times, on hold 28 min. 40 min. AND 52 min. STILL no one picked up. This seems to be a problem with this place as I discussed with the contractor listed with them to do work. I can't even get through their corporate office. Disappointed, frustrated, and will be cancelling my policy as soon as I have my situation either replaced or repaired.

Had to wait 3 weeks to have my ** repaired ( temps inside my home is 99 degrees ) . A manager or supervisor has to approve emergency requests , 2 times I was told a manager would call me back about this problem but no one ever did. Plus when I finally did get service my out of pocket quote from orhp was $ 520 but when the ** company said orhp sent them the total out of pocket amount it was $ 625 Trying to teach a human is nearly impossible.
