I think theyre horrible. They close out tickets without telling you. I have an intermittent problem with my icemaker in my refrigerator that likes to just spit ice out all over my floor or jam up in the shoot. I paid for the service to come out and check it out, but it wasnt doing it at the time they were here. I then followed up with the service. We have given them business for 3 years and we will terminate when the renewal comes this ******** only have one phone number to reach out to them and at the mercy of the person on the phone, often not in a good mood. They sent the wrong provider after a long wait and we were charged $110 for the service fee. We after realized and the company itself confessed they dont do that type of work and referee us to another company. We purchased a home warranty from Old Republic at the time of closing on our home, expecting coverage for unexpected issues. The homes air conditioning unit had passed inspection prior to closing and was functioning properly until 4/23/26.When the ** stopped working, which was within 30 days of purchase, we filed a claim with Old Republic. I had a very frustrating experience with Old Republic Home Protection. I called at least four different times for separate issues, and every time it took around 30 minutes just to reach someone. The process was consistently stressful and time-consuming.When it came to my refrigerator, the issue was never fixed because they claimed it was a manufacturing problem, so they wouldnt cover it. I have used Old Republic for many years. We have had their warranty for our personal home and rentals. In *******, we are extremely challenged when there are issues with Air Conditioning due to the extreme heat. A tenant of ours reported issues with their **. Through our property manager we immediately contacted Old Republic to set up service. A vendor was quickly set up and sent to the site to make repairs. Unfortunately, ORHP is not in the business of taking care of you or your home. The bottom of my water heater started leaking on Thursday night. I called the next morning to ask how much it would cost me at the end of the service. I was told just the trade fee, $100. The plumber came by, took pictures, and left to calculate the cost to get the job done. Later, ORHP called and said it would cost me out of pocket over $865. We had a leak start on April 9th behind our washing machine right before bed shut the water off and waited till the morning of the 10th to call and that was the end of that we have not heard anything back from anyone tried to reach out to them multiple times as well as the so-called company that was supposed to and fix it and nothing no response. Paid $100 call fee for a rekey service locksmith arrived, refused to rekey any locks with excuses for each door, then upsold a $75 "replacement" service for the same work. **************** wait times were excessive, filed a dispute a week ago with no resolution. Out $175 total and still have no new keys. Very disappointing first experience with ORHP.
