Very disappointed. The contractor Db Airconditioning company sent by old republic was unable to complete the work they were not able to diagnose the issue within reasonable time which is unacceptable. Communication and follow up were poor and the issue they were able to resolve.

I had a horrible experience with my last work order. I was charged the service call fee even though nothing was actually fixed. Im seriously considering canceling my home warranty because this experience was so disappointing.

Absolutely horrible. Absolutely unacceptable. Would give -5 stars if there was an option to do so. No way to notify ORHP if there is ******************* Several phone attempts with nothing but an endless loop (no pick-up): 2 x's 40 minutes- nothing, 2 x's 20 minutes- nothing, 3 x's 18 minutes- nothing. 4 x's emails- no responses/bounce backs. No way to contact a human... unless you call Sales. Of course, as they're quick to take your money, but then quick to say they can't help if it has nothing to do with taking your money ... read more

I am submitting this review to document significant issues encountered with Old Republic Home Protection during an air conditioning system failure. Terrible service, Contractor out 3x, not fixed. Dryer wont dry. Always another excuse. Total waste of money. Save yourself the time and aggravation and don't use Old Republic.

This company will do everything in their power to weasel out of repairs. They will certainly charge you every step along the way in doing so. It took 4 different trips to diagnose this problem then hide behind the very broad term of maintenance in the policy. Do not use them.

AC unit was not cooling enough so i felt Freon must be low. Service man came out checked and freon was low. Said he would add freon. asked will he find the leak. He said no point to as Old republic will only pay him to add freon not find and repair the leak. But I asked but it will leak back down again won't it. he said if it does file another report. Horrible experience with them. I have had them to fix three different things in my house and they have yet to fix any of them. The 1st came out of pocket, the 2nd they have now come out twice and are not coming out for another 3 days, which is leaving me with no hot water this entire time. And the last they referred me to a service that does not work on weekends and my A/C is out. How do I leave no stars?

Don't waste your money. This home warranty company is just like every other home warranty company. They will find any reason not to cover the major appliances that go out. I had a twenty year old water heater that went out and they would not cover it. The plumber said there was oil in the gas line which caused the water heater to go out. He determined this without even taking the control unit off the water heater. All he did was pull the gas line off where it connects to the shutoff valve. *********.
