RecommendedDr Gates and staff are the best! Very knowledgeable and caring for Great Danes! Always willing to go above and beyond! I brought a foster Great Dane that needed a serious nail trim on a Saturday! A dog that had never been seen before! Absolutely amazing! Their heart for helping dogs is absolutely unparalleled. Old town vet staff and docs are my heros! ❤️

The veterinary care is superb at Oldtown Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Gates is excellent in her treatment of my fur babies. She never gives up in her quest for an effective treatment. She has that special ability to be compassionate towards her human clients when things get tough. She understands how much our fur babies are part of our families. She is the absolute best !

Ricky loves Dr. Jarvis! He recently had his teeth cleaned and he enjoyed all the attention he received as he was convalescing in the post op area. Very grateful to the all the staff for their caring and compassion!
We've been going to Oldtown Vet for over 10 years. There is no better veterinarian than Dr. Gates. She genuinely cares about each pet as though it were her own. I won't take my fur babies anywhere else.
My dog is is rescue with high fear and anxiety regarding grooming. Old Town always patiently sedates, cleans and trims her up, leaving her looking beautiful and happy. They also treated my outdoor cat when he was shot, and they removed his rear leg. They were kind and accommodating and did a good job.

We are so thankful for Dr. Gates, Dr. Strickland, and all of the staff at Oldtown Veterinary Hospital for the excellent care they give to our sweet boy, Sully! They are kind and compassionate people who truly care for the animals they come into contact with. We wouldn’t take our pup anywhere else!
