Orkin said they were going to come to my house this past Friday afternoon to do an assessment. That same Friday morning a man by the name of Russell called me to say they were actually coming to spray later that day and that my kids and cats needed to be gone for two hours. I Been with orkin for over 10 years this is the 2nd time out of the 10 years that I called in to request service for inside the houses due to seeing more spiders and bugs. My appointment with orkin was 7/24 from 8am to 10pm. My wife had to take half day off work and we had to drop the kids off at my parents house because after the service we have to leave the house for 2-4 hours. Complete rip off stay away from them. They bind you to contracts and have bad service.
Orkins quoted $50 discount if service rep did not use ladder to terminate wasp. He did not but Orkins ignored my requests for $50 refund despite 3 phone calls and 3 emails. Service rep mentioned there would be 3 visits. He showed up for the first visit and never showed up again despite my request in e-mail.
Orkin was to show up between 2-4 today and did not; this is the second time this has happened. I telephoned and the person who answered the phone said that it was only one minute after 4 and that that the 2-4 meant that the technician was on his/her way. Orkin charges $423 for the initial date to set up traps. I stayed home and waited for a technician. No more.
8 months ago I gave Orkin a 5 stat review on Google Maps. I had a great technician. He came on Wednesday's as requested. Then he moved. Since then they have sent several different technicians. I have called and complained about service etc. Today a Friday Orkin scheduled my service so I took the day off to be home. I have a dog and he needs to be put inside. The technician never called. No Stars basically They are a Commercial company Not in need of business No customer service No communication Just show up to do service without contract Then came and promised quote and contract and no show after Horrible Communication Got lucky as no service from them or the after service calls would be even pathetic
These guys are pros in scaring people and over charging. I came across this sales guy called Andy. Highly rude and not ready to listen. They sent an "expert" Mr Russ who came home for inspection and acted like the "Pied Piper of Hamelin". Eventually he made it look as if the house was inhabitable due to rats and showed me a quote of 24000 usd for sanitization. I requested another agency to inspect and told them the problem, they did a thorough inspection, turned out there was a minor problem that they solved. Stay away fro... read more
Dont do it. They will charge you for services that never perform and make it impossible to get ahold of anyone to complain or take action. I am beyond frustrated and they continue to charge me.
