Recall denied despite facts I drove my 09' jetta 26 miles to the orlando volkswagen south in decent condition. Despite the ABS control module issue that it was recalled for which the website states they would replace if there were affected. However it was not honored. They did not own up to it. They denied the recall to my face like they're programmed to. I had to get triple A to get the car towed home because they tampered with it. Dishonest service dept. Dishonest service dept. I recently received a coupon with a special offer code for an oil change for $49.95 from this dealer. So, when I took my car on Dec. 18, 2020, for the oil change, the service rep said that he couldn't honor the coupon because it came from VW corporate, even though the coupon clearly says "Orlando VW South." Couldn’t Wait to Leave Took my car to this VW for service, since I moved and the VW I purchased my car from is now farther away (that VW is a little better but deficient in the sales department). HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I purchased a VW Altas SEL Premium on 4/30/2020. It was a disaster dealing with Curtis trying to make the purchase. Finally it looked like someone else took over and finalized the deal. Curtis then delivered the vehicle to me in West Palm Beach. Car damaged, excessive repair time. Our car was repaired for TDI got back with terrible diesel smell (I could taste it it was so bad) then they did 3 ozone treatments and it now has a chemical smell and I can’t drive it.
Car got worse We took car in for repairs. 4K then drove home car wouldn't go above 40 mph loud noises. Took back in file pump-more $$$ then car reeks of fuel one week later. Can not drive it.
Mislead Went for a 2016 Black Kia Optima and was told I qualified and then was told that the financing company wanted to give me a better car (camry) based on resale value, when I said I was not interested they offered me a Hyunday Elantra which I refused. Couple days later I had to chase Kyle and find out about the Kia Optima. I was told to come in and sign the papers for the Kia Optima. Crooks from head down to work in Davidmaus vw service department you must be a crook. Will tell you a repair is double the hours plus charge for diagnostic that is supposed to be waived when you allow them to do the work. when I called them to the carpet on this they tried from branch manager down to say the repair took longer, but when I advised their other location plus competitors all told me half the time then the story and price of my bill changed. Bad service- not serious After I signed for a car, they took it back and force me to give back the contract because I didn’t have a copayer, they knew my conditions before I got a deal, not recommended
