Very nice experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Panevino. The only (slight) downside was that the lasagna I ordered wasn't really as tasty as I thought it would be and as it looked when it was brought to the table. It was rather bland. Aside from that, everything was spot on - the service was top notch, the rest of the items we ordered were amazing and overall we had a lovely experience. Delicious authentic Italian food. We had a table with Italians next to us so we knew it must be a good place. Some of the best bolognese I've ever had (papardelle con fungi). Others enjoyed the gnocchi with crab & vodka sauce and the cioppino. The lamb chops with truffles was a miss (overcooked) and was replaced with the ahi entree but that was also a miss. The staff was very gracious and comped the meal with a smile. Overall, a wonderful meal!!
Probably the best salmon I have ever tasted (and I make pretty good salmon on the grill). Great staff, great food. Was able to speak a little italian with them, theirs was much better than mine. Anyway we went here two nights in a row during a 5 day trip.
Great pasta dishes. Ate with my two kids. Both loved their dishes. My son is not big on red sauce but he changed his tune after trying my sausage dish. My only critique is the smoking by someone associated with the restaurant at the street which was only a few feet away.
