Great food! We went there before a concert at Balboa Theatre and the food and handmade drinks were delicious!
Came here for lunch and sat at the bar. This was my first time here and they have an excellent wine list. They had a fish special running so I decided to get that. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Would definitely come back here again.
Came here for lunch during a weekday. We were promptly seated and ordered glasses of white wine. They have a pretty expansive wine list. They had a catch of the day special which was sea bass. So we ordered that and the fish sandwich which was swordfish. Both dishes were excellent. Both fish were perfectly prepared and flaky. Fantastic service and food was amazing!! Highly recommend the salmon!!
The food, service and overall experience was good, but... I was hosting a business meal (within financial limits). The waiter did everything he could to aggressively drive up the bill, to the point where I was ready to take it out on his tip if I went over. (fortunately I did not go over; & because of the size of the group, the tip was already included). Aside from this issue, I would recommend the restaurant.

We are fortunate to have been able to book this gem last minute. We sat on the outdoor patio next to the street so we felt like we were on vacation. Our waiter, actually from Rome, was fantastic and always checking on us but never rushed us in any way. The Caesar salad was fantastic as was my sea bass dish over risotto with lobster and sauce, and my friends ravioli with pesto sauce. We have two chocolate desserts that were equally delicious. Nice ambiance, very personable staff and high quality Italian food.
