Awesome, awesome, awesome. The people, the service and course the food! This is our "go to place" for special occasions. We have never been disappointed. We would HIGHLY recommend this lovely restaurant.

Party of six. The waiter originally did not want to split the check, and when we split it ourselves he took a while to take the cards, then said it will be easier if he just split it himself. It added almost an extra 20 minutes to get out of the restaurant. Also they charged for table bread but didn't say that in the beginning. Good food, not so good service.

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving meal here! The staff was so attentive (even though there were a lot of guests!). The food was delicious and the wine was perfectly paired. We especially loved the camaraderie between the employees. You can definitely tell they are like family and they were quick to jump in to help each other. We will definitely be back next time we're in San Diego!
WOW. WOW. WOW!!!! Osteria Panevino was amazing! We have been there before and it has always been great, but they went above and beyond this time! We had some family in town and wanted to take them to a very nice (but not super fancy) happy hour and then dinner. Our host/waiter/possibly-the-manager whose name I do not recall was fantastic! We live in Laguna Beach. I brought my wife here for a date the night before she ran a 5K for the Run for The Hungry in San Diego! My wife had their specialty Pappardelle Rague Porcini. She loved it! I ordered the special for the day a Tomahawk Sirloin Steak. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection! We both took home 1/2 of our dinner because the portions were generous. Great service and ambiance.
Excellent food and value. The bartender female was a little grouchy. Server was fine. Nice location.
