We are visiting San Diego and staying near the Gaslamp area - I picked this off of OpenTable for the ratings and the fact they emphasize all home made pastas. The restaurant is cozy, has outdoor seating if desired and great service. My pasta was amazing. I highly recommend it!

Live in San Francisco Bay Area where of course there are a lot of Italian restaurants, well this is one of the BEST!!! Amazing food, incredible service and perfect to sit outside when the weather is good . Highly recommend!!!!

I came down to San Diego to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends, I am so glad I chose Osteria Panevino! The food was delicious and the staff was amazing! They decorated the table with rose petals and provided me with a birthday treat after dinner as well as a voucher for a future meal. My friends all enjoyed their platters as well. I am definitely going to be returning for a future meal!
Definitely chose a great place to eat. Celebrating something special and letting them know they really had an amazing set up! I was in awe and it was impressive for the surprised eyes!
Fun and tastey, good vibe restaurant. Excellent, attentive service. We dined outside, as it was such a nice evening and the noise level was fine ( with the exception of the occasional car passing by with radio blaring and windows rolled down :/ )
Stopped here for a birthday and was greeted with a great server. He was very welcoming, helped us with the menu since it was our first visit. Wine list was great and the meat and cheese appetizer was very good. We all enjoyed our meals and at the very end, we had a surprise birthday tiramisu for dessert! Definitely worth going to once we come back again.
Wonderful evening. Great food and service! Hidden gem. Don't pass this restaurant up.
